It will explain what to do, how to appeal, and more! Thanks for reading.

Why was I banned?
There are many possibilities to why you were banned. I personally do not know if these are all of them,
so if you do, make sure to leave a comment down below.

Watchdog Cheat Detection
Watchdog Cheat Detection bans indicate that your account was caught hacking by the Anticheat.
Obviously, if you were using hacks, this is why you were banned. However, if you weren't using hacks
there is the possibility that you were banned for using a modification. Remember that all mods are
"use at your own risk" meaning that you are at the risk of being banned. There is also the possibility that your
account was compromised. We'll talk more about what that means later.

Account Security
An account security ban may indicate that your account was hacked. If your account has a significant IP
change this will happen. It will be a permanent ban. If you know it was you, appeal the ban and it
will be reduced to 30 days. If you know it wasn't you, then your account may have been
compromised (see below). After taking necessary precautions submit and appeal and it should be
reduced to 30 days as well.

Boosting
There are two different boosting bans you could've received. Boosting to improve statistics,
or boosting in one or more Skyblock profiles. Boosting to improve stats can be cause by for example,
playing with a hacker in doubles to win. Skyblock boosting is essentially using another account
and transferring items over to another for your own advantage.

Inappropriate Bans
There are four reasons you could've been banned for this.
1. Creating a build or drawing which is not appropriate on the server
2. Creating or using an item that has an inappropriate name
3. Using pets or cosmetics in an inappropriate way
4. Using inappropriate skins or capes on the server
I think this one is self explanatory.

Cross-Teaming
You were caught teaming with players other than your team.

Others
There are other reasons you could've been banned that really aren't
main reasons. These are mostly self explanatory bans.

1. You were found to be negatively affecting your fellow team members
2. Misleading others to believe you are a youtuber or staff member
3. Discussing or acting in a manner which encourages cheating or rule breaking
4. Attempting to obtain information or something of value from players
5. Acting in a manner that is extremely disrespectful to members within the community
6. Talking or sharing inappropriate content with explicit themes on the server
7. Attempting to gain access to other user's accounts/information
8. Attempting to sell Minecraft accounts

What to do, and what not to do
What you should do:'
First thing to do, is to stay calm. Don't panic. Secondly, try to appeal your ban. There will be a link to that below.
Keep in mind that you can only appeal once and the decision is final. This means that if it is
accepted, great! If it is denied, the staff team has sufficient evidence to not lift or shorten your ban.

Things you definitely should not do:
Buy another Minecraft account. Of course, you can buy an MC account, but do not use it on the server.
This is categorized as ban evading and is against the rules.

Buy a cracked account. Don't buy an unofficial Minecraft account as that is against Hypixel rules and Minecraft EULA.

Share your Ban ID. Do not share your Ban ID as that can affect the process of your appeal if someone appeals for you.

Harass staff or others. Don't harass staff to unban you, or the players that reported you.

Compromised Account

If your account was compromised, it means that your account was hacked and used to cheat on the server. Change your password
immediately. I'd also recommend enabling Argus, a new security feature introduced in the last few months. More
info can be found at the link below. If your password was changed and you no longer have access to your account,
contact Mojang Support immediately and sort it out.

Hypixel Store
If you've been banned from the Hypixel Store, contact Hypixel Support at support.hypixel.net.

Skywars/Tournaments
If you are banned for cheating, then you are automatically banned from Ranked Skywars and Tournaments.
They will both end at the same time (if not permanent).

Forums
You can be forum banned after certain offences, or after receiving several warnings. There is a
special appeal for this that will be linked below; you can only view if you are banned from the forums.
