A young woman is crediting a lifestyle overhaul and a game-changing skincare range for her newly radiant skin after struggling with agonising cystic acne for 2.5 years.
Billyjo, 24, from South Australia, had 'crystal clear' skin her entire life before being struck with the painful condition when she was 22.
It started with a few pimples in hormonal areas of the face before it 'spread everywhere', leaving her in immense 'physical and emotional pain'.

'I started trying LED treatments at my local skin clinic along with hydrating chemical peels, however the spreading didn't stop,' Billyjo said of her rapidly spreading acne.
'I went on to try so many products that promised to help but again, nothing.'
Desperate, Billyjo was prescribed doxycycline by her GP, a form of antibiotics that kills the bacteria responsible for acne. After nine months of use she noticed a huge change - but it wasn't to last.
'It had completely cleared but the medication did more damage than good. Six months later, my cystic acne was back and worse than before after destroying my gut health,' she said.
