Army Substance Abuse Program mission is to strengthen the overall fitness and effectiveness of the Army´s workforce, to conserve manpower and enhance the combat readiness of Soldiers.

Carlisle Barracks DEERS/ID Card Office

The office is located in Room 135 at 46 Ashburn Drive, Anne Ely Hall, Carlisle, PA 17013

Carlisle Barracks Police

DES provides professional installation security and force protection through Law Enforcement Operations, Physical Security Support and Fire and Emergency Services while maintaining liaison with local, state and federal agencies.

Unescorted visitors coming to Carlisle Barracks, who do not have a Federal government-issued identification card, will be vetted through the National Crime Information Center Interstate Identification Index (NCIC-III). This is the Army's baseline background check for entrance onto Army installations for those who are 18 and over, without a CAC or Military ID.

Continuing Education Services

Soldiers stationed at Carlisle Barracks or across the state can take advantage of an array of services at the Carlisle Barracks Education Center which include but are not limited to -- career and educational counseling, testing services, college transcript evaluations, GI Bill and Veterans Affairs information to include transferring Post 9/11 GI Bill benefits and using benefits, Federal Tuition Assistance Program counseling to include navigating the GoArmyEd portal and requesting Tuition Assistance, financial aid counseling, in and out-processing of the installation, and educational benefits briefings.

Dunham U.S. Army Health Clinic/Carlisle Barracks Dental Clinic

Dunham U.S. Army Health Clinic (DUSAHC) is a Primary Care medical treatment facility that includes Pediatric care, Optometry, Physical Therapy, and Behavioral Health Services for all eligible beneficiaries. The Carlisle Barracks Dental Clinic will provide dental treatment to ensure the oral health and readiness of the active duty joint forces that live or work within a 60 mile commute of Carlisle Barracks. The dental clinic is responsible for dental care of over 2,100 active duty beneficiaries in the area.

Housing Office

The Army Housing Office provides a broad array of services to military and civilian personnel. The Housing office maintains a list of available home listings for rent or purchase.

Military Personnel Division

The Military Personnel Division is responsible for providing installation level personnel services to Soldiers within Carlisle Barracks and other area installations and organizations.

Office of the Command Judge Advocate

The Office of the Command Judge Advocate provides legal advice to the command and staff at Carlisle Barracks and the U.S. Army War College. Our mission is to provide the means to achieve the command's objectives within the law.

Public Affairs Office

The Public Affairs Office supports the garrison by communicating on behalf of the installation and its leadership - providing clear, accurate, timely information to internal & external audiences. We employ a variety of communication strategies- including internal news and information products, media engagement, and public outreach.

The Sexual Harassment/Assault Response & Prevention (SHARP) program at Carlisle Barracks reinforces the Army’s commitment to reduce with an aim toward eliminating sexual offenses within the Army through cultural change, prevention, intervention, investigation, accountability, advocacy/response, assessment, and training to sustain the All-Volunteer Force.

Soldier for Life Military Retirement Services

Provides information and services on benefits and entitlements to active duty Soldiers and Families preparing for retirement and to retirees and Families.

Transition Assistance Program (TAP)

Army Community Service, Employment Readiness Employment Manager, Carlisle Barracks, PA is offering this 5-day workshop. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Pennsylvania Job Service, Veterans Employment Representative and the Career Link will present the program.
